BizAway acquires Uniglobe Alliance Travel to strengthen its position in the Netherlands
BizAway continues to advance its pan-European growth strategy with the acquisition of Uniglobe Alliance Travel, one of the Netherlands' leading Travel Management Companies. Effective from 1 July 2026, the acquisition marks another important milestone in the company's international expansion and further strengthens its presence across the Benelux region.
Founded in 2006, Uniglobe Alliance Travel has built a strong reputation for delivering expert, client-focused business travel services. Operating from five offices across Rotterdam, Arnhem, Goes, Almere, and Alkmaar, the company has developed long-standing client relationships and extensive local market expertise over nearly two decades.
By bringing Uniglobe Alliance Travel into the group, BizAway combines this deep knowledge of the Dutch market with its proprietary technology, expert in-house support, and growing global network. The acquisition also adds new offices in the Netherlands to BizAway's international network, strengthening its ability to support medium and large organisations with increasingly complex travel needs.
"We have been looking for the right partner in the Benelux region for some time, and in Alliance Travel we have found exactly that. They have built something genuinely impressive: a loyal client base, a skilled and dedicated team, and a reputation built on quality of service. Our ambition is to keep building on that foundation. This acquisition strengthens our position in the Netherlands and Europe bringing valuable local expertise into BizAway Group. It allows us to continue serving medium and large companies in the region with an even stronger business travel proposition, combining technology, human support and international reach," said Luca Carlucci, CEO of BizAway.
Following the acquisition, Uniglobe Alliance Travel will continue to operate under its existing brand as part of BizAway Group and within the Uniglobe Travel network until the end of this year, ensuring full continuity for clients, suppliers, and employees. Byron Bentley will remain Commercial Director for the country, and there will be no changes to client contracts, service agreements, or day-to-day operations.
The transaction is backed by Mayfair Equity Partners and supports BizAway's long-term strategy of building a leading pan-European business travel company by combining local expertise, proprietary technology, and outstanding human support.
