B Corp certified since 2022
In 2022, BizAway became the first travel management company in the world to earn B Corp certification. This recognition is reserved for businesses that meet the highest standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency. We recertified in 2025 with a score of 99.4, reaffirming our commitment to improving our environmental and social performance over time.

With emissions tracking, integrated reporting tools, and partnerships supporting certified environmental and social initiatives, we help companies make more informed decisions about the impact of their business travel.
Eden reforestation initiatives
Support certified mangrove restoration projects in areas affected by deforestation through our partnership with Eden: People+Planet. These initiatives contribute to ecosystem restoration efforts while also supporting local communities through employment opportunities and access to education and healthcare.
Carbon offset calculator
BizAway was the first platform to integrate a greenhouse gas calculator developed in collaboration with Squake (by Lufthansa Innovation Hub). It automatically estimates the emissions generated by each journey and calculates the corresponding contribution amount associated with supporting our mangrove planting initiatives.
Certified SAF programs
Since 2025, we have supported certified Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) programs in partnership with Air France-KLM and the Lufthansa Group. This alternative fuel can significantly reduce lifecycle aviation emissions compared to conventional jet fuel.
Supporting people, growth, and equal opportunities
Responsibility also means creating a workplace and an industry where people have the opportunity to grow, learn, and build long-term careers. From equality and inclusion initiatives to education programs and university partnerships, we aim to support people both inside and outside our company.
Gender equality
We hold the UNI/PdR 125:2022 certification, reflecting our commitment to inclusivity, equal opportunities, and workplace equality. We promote equal access to career growth and maintain a zero-tolerance approach to discrimination in all its forms.
BizAway Travel Academy
To support emerging talent, we launched the BizAway Travel Academy, an 8-week paid training experience based in Shkodër, Albania. Designed for final-year students and recent graduates, it combined hands-on education with real exposure to the business travel industry, with many participants later joining BizAway as full-time team members.
University partnerships
Through partnerships with universities across Italy and Spain, we offer internship programs that give students hands-on experience and practical exposure to the business travel industry as they begin their careers.
Certified carbon offsetting with Green Future Project

BizAway is a proud partner of Green Future Project (GFP), an Italian climate tech company and official Verra-accredited partner, offering access to certified climate contribution projects. Through GFP, you can purchase carbon credits equivalent to your trip’s estimated emissions, funding projects that either absorb CO2 from the atmosphere or reduce emissions at the source. Every offset comes with a Verra-issued certificate featuring a unique serial number, so your contribution is independently verified and traceable for sustainability reporting.
