With this new policy, companies can define the highest train class travelers are allowed to book, making it easier to manage travel spend and ensure bookings stay aligned with internal guidelines.

Set the right carriage class for each group

The Carriage Class Policy can be configured at group level, allowing companies to adapt the rules to different teams, roles, or traveler profiles.

Travel Managers can choose between two options:

• Standard Class only – travelers are expected to book Standard Class, while First Class fares are considered out of policy.
• First Class allowed – travelers can book both Standard and First Class fares.

This added flexibility makes it possible to tailor train travel policies to the needs of different groups within the organization.

Choose how out-of-policy bookings are handled

Defining a policy is only part of the equation. Companies also need control over what happens when a traveler selects an option that falls outside the established rules.

With BizAway, Travel Managers can decide how out-of-policy train bookings should be managed:

• Request approval – the booking is sent to the designated approver before it can be confirmed.
• Allow the booking – the traveler can proceed, while the booking is clearly flagged as out of policy.
• Block the booking – the traveler cannot complete a booking that exceeds the perm
